The Deconstruction Monologues focus on a man named John, played by Luke Mochrie. John is forced by TGWTG.com to view movies he deems as "self-important," movies that seem pretentious or artistic. John does so reluctantly, usually insulting the movie's sense of self-importance. He also tries to figure out the various symbols within the films, attempting to understand the "deeper meaning." The first episode appeared on the site on December 13th, 2010.
