The Elephant in the Room is an original character in Nostalgia Critic who typically shows up when the Critic fails to or is hesitant to address a certain, usually touchy subject, that the viewers are expecting him to bring up; he first appears in the review of NeverEnding Story II, guilt-tripping the Critic into addressing the suicide of the film's star, Jonathan Brandis. He has since appeared in Next Top 11 NC Fuckups and Top 11 Simpsons Episodes, as well as the Pixels review.
