Heisanevilgenius hails from the Greater Toronto Area. In his own words, he is "an extremely outside-the-box sort of guy" and constantly coming up with strange ideas.

TGWTGEdit

After writing text reviews for many years, he came across an article mentioning really bizarre Japanese arcade games and it occurred to him that many Internet reviewers specifically targeted bad games but very few talked about how weird they were. He then decided this was going to be his niche. He started writing text reviews of weird games for his website. In 2008, he finally decided that with the popularity of YouTube and other similar sites that people were more interested in watching video than reading a block of text. Additionally, the strange nature of the games was much easier to illustrate with full video than with still images. Soon, he also came to discover The Nostalgia Critic through his feud with The Nerd and decided to start posting his videos in the That Guy With The Glasses forum.

After sending his videos in to Rob Walker, Heisanevilgenius was accepted and offered a place on Blistered Thumbs when the site went live.
