Joey Castro is one of the Culture and News Contributors at Blistered Thumbs where he provides up-to-date news in the video game industry, and editorials that cover a wide arrange of current topics being discussed in the gaming community.

Born and raised in south Florida, he is currently pursing a degree in Communications at Florida Atlantic University. He has been writing about Video Games for more than 4 years now, starting out on a personal blog, and working my way up the ladder. Castro joined the Channel Awesome and Blistered Thumbs Team in August 2010 after being invited by Joe Vargas to join the staff.
